History or „Rumour of Switzerland“? Made from Swiss sugar beet, the first „Rumour of Switzerland“ is a truly inventive drink. That’s why the recipe for the brand appearance for „The Last Barrel“ is so inventive. Here, too, facts blendwith fiction in an imaginative way. The result was a humouroustale in which historical personalities such as Napoleon Bonaparte and Robert Surcouf bickered with fictional characters such as Johann Ferdinand Fässler over a legendary rum recipe. The logo and the labels are based on the era in which the story is set, but nevertheless appear contemporary in design, language, and feel.
